Join the Pups!
On Saturday, July 18, Scamps, Bosley’s Kingsway, Vegas Donuts, and the pups of Cedar Cottage invite you to come out and celebrate the community! From 5 – 8pm, we’ll be rockin’ and rollin’ with tunes, games, food, prizes, and more, at Kingcrest Park – on the corner of Knight and King Ed!
Think MUSIC, art, and entertainment from Wassabi Collective member M3 – whose studio is right at the park! We have a McBean Hotdog Eating Contest from the newest fastfood to hit the streets – by Vegas Donuts! Sharpen your knife and enter the Watermelon Carving Contest and lace up your shoes for the Kingcrest Dog-Human Championship Races – where interspecies teams compete in 3 categories for prizes from Bosley’s, Scamps, and other businesses right here in Cedar Cottage! Plus! The return of our Donut Toss Competition!
It’s a comm-YOU-nity Pup-Up, so we’re putting the word out to everyone and their dogs to join in!
Poster Dog Contest!
You know your dog’s smile is the biggest and the brightest. They should be the coverdog for the Pup-Up!
Submit a pic on Instagram by tagging @scamps.ca to have them considered.
The best photo will end up on the party poster, and win a mani-pedi this summer at Scamps.
Volunteer!
We’re also looking for contest prize donations, a face painter, event photographers, and judges, officiators, and set-up volunteers on the day. Get in touch, by emailing talia@scamps.ca to get involved.
